A survey research design was used for the study. Four research questions and three hypotheses were raised and tested by the study. The sample for the study was 265 students in the tertiary institutions selected in South-West Nigeria. The questionnaire used for data collection was titled \u201cQuestionnaire on the Entrepreneurial Capacity and Intention of Polytechnic Undergraduates in South-West, Nigeria, \u201cwhich had a Cronbach Alpha coefficient of 0.82. Data collected from the study is analysed using both descriptive and inferential statistics on SPSS version 20. The results from the study showed that the students&#8217; rating of their EC and EI had high percentage values, with no significant difference for gender and level of study for EC. At the same time, there was a significant difference in EI.
